For the last few months I’ve had the pleasure of working on the Three Peas Photography website and blog. As with all web design project, it seems, there were a couple of glitches. The biggest one was transferring the domain name from BluDomain.

Now, I’m not one to talk negative about companies, especially publicly, but I’m making an exception in this case. They were anything but helpful during this process. I needed them to send me the confirmation email from my provider which comes with a time sensitive link to accept the transfer. With other domains that I have transferred I’ve usually received the email within a day if not hours of starting the process.

After about a week, I contacted BluDomain and asked if they’d received this email. A couple of hours later I received the email, however the confirmation link had expired. I looked at the forwarded email and noticed that BluDomain had received the email a couple of hours after I had started the process. I asked them why it took so long to forward it to me and they had the audacity to tell me it was my fault for not reminding them to send it to me!!! So, I started the process all over and sent them messages every day until I had received it.

After the domain name debacle, the design process went relatively smoothly. It took about a week to complete and ended up looking pretty fantastic (if I say so myself!). It helped that Marci’s photos are so beautiful though. If you have a moment I would suggest that you go on over to Three Peas Photography and take a look at the website. It really is beautiful!
