I watched the movie Life of Pi a couple of nights ago. It was a great movie, as good as the book, in my opinion. However, what really struck me was the opening credits. They were so whimsical and fun. The text matched the movements of the animals or was hidden behind an animal and when they moved it was revealed. The font and colors that they chose complemented the scene that they were in. It was just fantastic. I found the company that created the opening credits, yU+co., and they have a video of it on their website. If you haven’t seen them, it’s really something you should check out. On a slightly different note, as I was looking for the images above I came across this illustration by Doyle Huang. It’s such a fun style. I loved it so much that I just had to share it.
